Most guests will expect at a minimum a bed, two nightstands, lamps for each nightstand, and a place to store their clothes/luggage in each guest room.
A tip to extend the life of your mattress and pillows is to make sure you cover them with a high-quality protective cover that is both waterproof and protects against bed bugs. If there are accidents the mattress protector can be easily removed and washed between turns.
